Vahe Tevos, a modern Armenian painter, was born in 1989 in Yerevan. He studied at the Yerevan State Art College named after Panos Terlemezyan, and later continued his education in the Painting Department of the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts named after Ara Sargsyan. Over the years, Vahe has participated in numerous exhibitions, including “Zatik” Art Fest and “Meridian” Home Expo in 2024, following his acceptance into the Artists’ Union of Armenia. In 2018, his work was showcased in the group exhibition “Armenian Palette” at the National Museum of Minsk and his individual exhibition “Years” at the Sargis Muradyan Gallery in Yerevan. Earlier exhibitions include “Old Yerevan” at Dalan Gallery in 2017, “Owl” at Albert and Tove Boyajyan Gallery in 2013, and “Harem” in Tehran in 2012. Other notable displays include “Spring” at the Yerevan State Art College in 2011, “Sona Yar” at Arev Art Gallery in 2010, and “Three Periods” at the same gallery in 2007. Vahe’s work reflects a profound connection to Armenian culture, as he explores various artistic themes through his distinctive perspective.
